John Deere 425 - No Power

1996-ish, 1,725 hours. Powered by Kawasaki FD620D engine with carburetor.
Tractor runs but has no power. While running pull left spark plug wire, engine stalls. Pull right wire, nothing happens. Leads me to believe right cylinder is dead. When tested for spark - spark is present. Tested compression - compression seemed fine. Removed valve cover to see that valves were moving ... valves seemed to opening/closing fine. Seems like it's a fuel issue, but the left cylinder runs fine and *I believe* the fuel comes from a common manifold. Any thoughts?

Did you swap the plugs side for side and try it?
