    X370 with blower. How many weights do I need?

    I own an X3 70 I have a 44 inch blower on the front .Ihave two suitcase weights do I need to more weights a total of four ?

    Check your owners manual. JD lists maximum weight without voiding the warranty for associated claims.

    Here is the link for the MY2016+ 44" or 47" snowblowers.

    Here is the link for the earlier 44" or 47" snowblowers.

    In the "install ballast" section both have the same literature. I could be wrong if this does not apply to your x370 but it sounds like 2 is what you want (but I don't see why adding another 84 lbs - 2 additional suitcase weights would cause undo harm to the tractor).

    If the operator is under 300, there is probably a margin of error.
