I've been trying to figure this break issue on my 260 for awhile now and I'm still clueless. I tried relining the shoes but because of a bad measurement he welded a plate to the tabs on the outside of the shoes which made them to big. I trimmed them down to fit the drum and nothing. I bought a lightly used pair of shoes from a 265 and it gave me the same result. Every time i fully engage the pedal and i can turn the axle by hand with no noticable resistance. There is no adjustment for the brakes it's just been pieces linked together.
