    X475 - Chasing a Hydro Leak

I am chasing a leak on the left side of my K92 on my x475. I have already replaced the diff lock seal and the mid-pto shaft seal. Looks like the leak is coming from around the brake shaft.

Anyone have experience replacing this gasket? Can it be done without pulling the hydro? I can find a the o-ring PN CH10570 that goes around the shaft but I cannot find the gasket PN for the side plate.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you

The service manual says that the transaxle has to be removed. It also says to use John Deere form in place gasket.

There isn't a gasket for the side plate. Use a good gasket sealer. Once the side plate is removed, remove the snap ring and pull the shaft out. Replace that oring and reassemble. You can do it with out removing the transaxle.
