    X570 brake locked up

Can't get the brake pedal to move down. It will start up without pushing the brake down and also starts up without me being on the seat. The display says the parking brake is on, but can't get it released. Called the dealership and was suggested that perhaps a stick was stuck underneath, but I can't see anything. Any suggestions?

Trace the linkage from the transmission to the pedal. Check for bent rods, broken springs, etc.. Keep in mind that the pedal must be depressed while releasing the brakes. That's how they work. So, push brake pedal down, release brake latch on dash, let up on pedal. My first thought is that the linkage at the safety switch is bent. Check there first.
