    X590 2 Inch Receiver Hitch

    Could some of you please offer ideas for mounting a two inch style receiver to the X500 series lawn tractors. I'm looking at installing a receiver that will ultimately allow me to connect a Herd Spreader to it. Thanks for the helpful input.

    The problem with the other thread is they don't address the 590 specifically. I own a 580 and tried a number of hitch products before I installed my integral power hitch. If you put the power sleeve hitch on your 590 the world opens up to you. I use a 2" adapter on my sleeve hitch. If I need to go to a 2" receiver it takes less than a minute to put on or take off and I still have the versatility of being able to use all of the sleeve hitch, pull behind, and 2" receiver attachments.

    It's called a sleeve hitch 2" receiver hitch adapter;

    I agree the power hitch is really a good idea, I was putting off that purchase but I'm starting to think otherwise. Thanks for the suggestion.
