    Spline shaft and bearing.

    Hello,

I snapped my spline shaft on the driveshaft side that turns the cutting deck. I removed the shield and the pulley. I tapped the broken shaft from underneath
the tractor and the bearing is about 2/3 of the way out. But, there seems to be a lot of tension on the neck of the bearing. The broken spline is flush with the interior wall of the tractor.
I didn't want to force it out until I ask if I am doing something wrong. I thought it would have been snug but, it is very tight in the hole.

    Any help would be appreciated.

It would help to know the model of tractor you have. Also, if you have any photos you can share that would be of great help also.
