    108 vs 130

    Will a 130 make a good parts mower to a 108 and vis versa? The way I understand it the 130 replaced the 108 in the mid 80s.

    I don't know how many parts are common between the 108 and the later 130, but there may not be many.

    The contemporary models to the 108 are the 111 and the 112L as seen in the parts catalog document attached below. Where the parts are common, you will see the proper designation in the listing. If you have a parts catalog for the 130 you can check if a similar part has EXACTLY the same number as the one listed for the 108 and if that is the case it should be a substitute as well.

    Bought the 130 today and it needs less work than the 108 from last week. Looks like the 108 is getting demoted or sold.
