    111h drive pulley

    Hello All,

I'm new to the forum and am working on a 111h. I'm putting the pulley for the hydro-static drive onto the output shaft of the engine. I didn't pay enough attention to it's orientation when I took it off unfortunately. The pulley is flat on one side and has a "snout" on the other. There is a ring spacer as well. I think the spacer went onto the output shaft first and then the pulley with the flat side up. Does that sound like the correct orientation?

Also, the belt looks like it might slightly rub on a cross brace that runs between the frame rails and on what I think may be part of the deck lift linkage. It's just barely going to touch them. I'm not sure it that is normal or not. I can post pictures later if that would be helpful. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    -Ethan

These two show how the belt can rub a bit.

Flip the pulley over and put spacer between pulley and PTO. I have not worked on a 111 but i have had other JDs apart and that is how they were setup.

Might try looking on JD parts site.

Will that fix your rubbing problem?
