    X758 Fuel

I was reading thru the manual on my new x758. Under the fuel section, it says to use a minimum of 45 cetane rated fuel and preferably 50 cetane. How are you suppose to get 40 cetane at the pump fuel up to 50? A 10 point increase sounds pretty hard to achieve.

Some places will have 50 cetane fuel - called super premium diesel or something like that.

With additives you can add a couple points to the certain but would never be able to bring it from 40 to 50.

As long as you are using good fresh fuel don’t worry about it. I run a winter additive year round.
