Found out I bent the lower plate that the 2" receiver hitch mounts to. Must have been that one large root ball i was working to rip out using a receiver hook and a length of chain. I didn't notice it until I put my 11" rise ball to move around my log splitter. I noticed it was sitting at an angle and that's when I saw the bent bracket.

Anyone happen to know the part number for it before I go running to the dealer and admitting to being a little rough and stupid.

By the way, I see Heavy Hitch now makes an improved receiver hitch for the X700-series. It looks like it would offer better support than the previous version.

Yes #16 is the correct part! Thank you for locating that I gave up.

I just noticed a pic of that new receiver hitch in another thread and through the guy bought the wrong one. Like you said, they redesigned it and stiffened it up quite a bit. I'll order the new hitch plate but I might just throw a piece of 1/4" steel the same size as the plate, pop a few holes in it and bolt the current receiver I have on it.

Seems like a reasonable repair solution is to stick a 6' long piece of square tubing in the socket and use a floor jack on the other end to straighten it back into place. Maybe followed by welding on a couple of reinforcing gussets.

I'll do that too and keep it as a spare

I’ve bent mine a couple times also with my water wagon. A few minutes in a hydraulic press and it’s as good as new.

I'm looking into making a carry shelf of sorts to use with my front QH. The goal is to make a platform that attaches to the front QH like the snow blade does, with a straight back, and then a lower base, so I can place a walkbehind blower on it to clean yard leaves. The idea comes after seeing those JRCO blower buggy carts they sell for the front of zero turns. I already have the QH so I'm thinking of giving it some more use.

Think if it as a giant spatula for holding a walk behind blower rather than walking it LOL

    https://www.jrcoinc.com/commercial_a...ALw_wcB#images

    - Locate an older black frame that mounts to the back of the snow blade
    - weld a 12" tall plate that is approximately 3' wide (few inches wider than a walk behind)
    - weld a base on to this that is approximately 3' x 3'.
    - strengthen with gussets to support the weight
    - If necessary add large casters like that found on the JRCO buggy
    - Drill and install a couple lifting eyes to use as tie down points to secure the walk behind blower to the platform
    - buy a walk behind blower to use

    Anyone ever do this before?
Anyone notice the black frame for sale or even know the part number?

I was also thinking it might be easier to just start with a beat up plow itself, strip it down, pop off the spring and weld it solid. Then weld the bottom platform to this.
