X500 48C Power Flow Ball Bearing Removal Help

    Hello all,

I set out to bag some leaves today, but my power flow made the most heinous grinding noise. One thing led to another, and I ended up dismantling the power flow to find one of the bearings totally shredded in the power flow plate. I'm wanting to go ahead and replace both bearings, but I'm having a bear of a time getting them out of the power flow plate. I've tried tapping them out to full on beating them with a hammer. I hit them with some PB Blaster just for safe measure, but I just can't get them to budge. Any suggestions on how to remove the bearings and bearing housings from the plate? Here are some photos of what I'm dealing with.

It looks like you should be able to use a drift and a hammer or a press to push the old bearing out. I don't see any clips of any kind.

You have to put the whole assembly on something sturdy (like a short piece of heavy metal pipe) to support it around the outside of the sleve the Bering fits in while you press or hammer it out
