    LT160 - voltage regulator help.

How do I know it is not working. I had Ohm'd all three leads and they are zero. Tried two different meters to make sure. It still starts with a lag when turning the key on but second time it start up. Battery is 12 plus on volts. Thanks, Stevo

There is no way to test a voltage regulator. Use a multi meeter to check battery voltage. You should have around 12.5-13 volts. Then start the engine & check it again. If you have 14.2-14.7 volts the system is working.
