Value of an LA125 with blown engine?

I checked out an LA125 today that had a blown engine. I might use some of it's parts for my LA135. The mower deck on my 135 is rough, needs a complete paint job, discharge chute and to fix a bend in the metal at one of the spindles, from hitting a large rock. The deck on the 125 is pristine!
It was at a local powersports store and they just want to get rid of it. They're supposed to get back to me on the price. What is reasonable?

No more than a couple hundred bucks if you really need some of the parts. Personally I wouldn't go over $100, but I don't have anything that I could put the parts on.

Yeah, I was thinking no more than $100 since I don't need many parts off of it, and it is a pretty low end model. It'd be nice to have an extra trans-axle for mine, since I've heard nothing good about the reliability of the trans-axle it has in it.

A new deck alone is 700 bucks. If you have a place to keep it, this could be an unlimited source of spare parts... The transaxle.. Gas Tank... tires....hood.. even the parts of the motor that are not blown. I would pay what I could afford to pay even if it was 400 bucks.
