L series blower on an X304?

Anybody know if this would fit a 2006 X300 series tractor? He said that it wouldn't fit his D series...

I'm a backyard fabricator, and I'm on the mindset that if I can mount it, and have a belt turn it, It should work...unless I'm missing something major here...

So, does anyone have any thoughts on this? I'm looking to buy a blower for my X304, and all I can find are ones that were on the L series, both Deere and Berco Blowers.

Has anyone done this? I can't even find pictures or diagrams of how an L series blower looks or mounts compared to an X300/X500 series.

Found a 42" deere blower about 2.5 hours away, but it's for an L series.

Can anyone either confirm or deny that this will be possible / biggest PITA there is?

Right now my internet service is sort of slow (thank you Wild Blue). Go into JD Parts and do a catalog search for "2797" which is the product identification guide. Click on "Alphabetical Search" and scroll down to the "Ss" and then click on the first "Snowblower, Attachments". The screen on the right top will populate. Enlarge that screen and scroll through it to find blowers for both L series and X300 series tractors. You probably will have to click on the arrows to get to the next page, but this will give you an idea what blowers fit what. I wish I could help more, but with my slow internet service I'm having today, I can't do much more than that. Sorry.

Thanks for your reply T-Mo, but I'm not having any luck there.

I don't know what to do. Will it "not Fit" or could it "fit" if it was all hinged on something simple like a hole needing to be drilled, or something stupid.

Well I bought it. Left at 3:30pm, got home at 9:45pm. Long day, but worth it.

no pics right yet, but there will be some...nay, lots.

This thread will serve as a how-to I suppose, because there will be some slight modifications to the blower to put it on to the x304.

so, in the coming weeks (hopefully), I will mount a 42" 2 stage blower, model OMM150280 G3 on to my 200 X304...apparently from my google searches coming up empty, I'll be the first to do anything like this.

Keep us posted. If might fit without too much modification. Good luck.
