Tire change on John Deere 160 garden tractor

I need help. My dad has an old 160 John Deere and I cannot get the tire off. I took off the dust guard and the locking pin, but the tire will not budge. There is a little give on the back but I'm seeing no movement on the front. Am I forgetting something?? Please help

Pin? On the 160, once you remove the dust cap there should be a snap ring on the end of the axle shaft that you need to remove. There should then just be 2 flat washers behind the snap ring, the wheel and then 3 flat washers on the shaft behind the wheel.

    Hi, Cory. Welcome to GTT.
Over time, the rim tend to seize onto the axle shaft. The job can be very difficult if this is the case.

Video on replacing tire without removing rim.
