Where I'd live if I could...

Driving around on a beauty Saturday just west of Calgary. Thought I'd show you guys where I'd go if I ever just say effitall. (Sound it out)...... Me and the mrs, couple rugrats, a few horses, couple dogs, my tractor, tools, and my guns on 40ac and I'd be alright.

Why does no one tell you when you're 21 that along with being highly trained/specialized comes a very narrow list of options for places to live?? Maybe my guidance counsellor would've been more useful telling me that, rather than insisting that I couldn't be a military pilot, or anything worthwhile, because i stopped taking French in grade 10. I've seriously considered doing family medicine training so I'm more mobile, and less dependent on the socialist Canadian Health care system that dictates how, where, and when I can practice my craft.

The pic is taken from an area called Springbank, a rural community that is now almost part of Calgary. It's gorgeous, as are all of the foothills, from northern Montana all the way up to Grande Cache.

    -J.

Just like no one told me that instead of buying a new $2500 fast car, I could buy 10 or 15 acres of land. I enjoyed all of the fast cars but right now I could be enjoying the income from 60 or 70 acres of dirt, sitting over natural gas.

I may get slapped for writing this here, but the US Government may have the market cornered on that product.

I thought it originated in Lyme Conn. Thus the name Lyme disease. Please elaborate on this mysterious Island off NY.

Beautiful beaches, moderated summer heat and lake effect snows. Right where I want to be.

The order of thoughts which went through my brain when I read this comment

    1. Jesse Ventura actually has a T.V. show?

    2. Does anyone really watch it?

    3. Does it have more "fake wrestling" as it can't be his mental strenghts that would be entertaining....

    4. I guess with unlimited t.v. channels comes unnecessary and unwanted t.v. programing.....
