Tractor shopping - 3033R Standard features

Hey folks, its been quite some time since I posted here, so hi again.

I'm doing some serious tractor shopping now. Currently I'm in Ukraine until my wife gets her immigration visa, we hope to be home in Maine in July.

I put out info requests to all the dealers in my area in the past couple weeks after spending hour after hour (not much to do here) watching videos of all da purdy tractors. Kubota, Massey/Kioti, LS and today JD. LS and JD were the only ones to reply, both within 24 hrs.

So now I'm down to 2 dealers since the others don't seem to be all that bothered to sell me a tractor.

I'm looking at 35 (ish) HP and only Premium models with some bells & whistles to make life easier on my aging body (I'm nearing 62) and more fun and with an eye toward future uses.

    The contenders are:

    LS XR 3135 H

    JD 3033R Hydro

With the equipment and options I want JD comes in at about $6k more than the LS. Both are good machines, tho I have yet to find a negative review video on any JDs. LS does have a few negs out there, most notably from Danny at Deep South Homestead. Sadly he went Orange.

Ok, my burning question at the moment is. does JD's 3R series come WITH rear remotes? LS comes with 2 sets standard on XR models as do most of the other makes on their premiums. I saw one mention of them in the R series brochure, but no mention at all in any of the videos I've found so far.

Ok, that's it for now and as always TIA
    Tim

You did not mention Cab or Open Station, but the deluxe cab models in the 3R series do include 1 rear remote, electrically controlled from the joystick.

Thanks, Kennyd! I was just going through my old posts and you were the first one in then too.

I knew I was forgetting something.

I'm going open station so I can be better connected to what's going on around me. I know, the winter will be a bear but I have plenty of winter gear that Uncle Sam let me keep when I retired. So I guess I'll have to add that to the quote or just crank that handle to rotate the (3PH) snowblower chute.
