    2032R mystery bolt/plug

Ok guys, I have a 2032R with around 40 hours on it. Upon blowing it off after mowing the yard this afternoon I found a bolt/plug on the rear end left hand side. I have blown the tractor off every time I mowed and newer seen this before and I have pressure washed it once. The bolt and o ring both look brand new with no noticeable oil by the o ring. Can anyone tell me where this bolt/plug should go? Maybe it’s an extra I’ve been carrying around and just noticed it tonight. The oil level in the transmission is good and so is the engine oil. The bolt was lying behind the sensor in the picturesClick image for larger version.

Do you know what the plug is for in the first photo?

Looks like a temporary manufacturing plug that is installed until tractor is assembled. But then again, if my theory is correct, why wouldn't a plastic plug be used? So, I really don't know what it is for, I'm just rambling on. I haven't posted anything in a while and just thought I'd chime in on this one. Someone will come along and give a better answer.

Good question, and I don’t know. But the plug was lying directly behind it

That plug is quite a bit larger. The plug I have has a head of about 5/8” and a total length of 3/4” roughly.
