    Congrats on your new tractor purchase. I'm GREEN with envy...

    re diesel cans; I have a 6 gal yellow diesel jug that I bought when I bought my Woods mowin Machine 20 years ago. Instead of lifting it to pour fuel in the Woods or MY JD tractor, I jushave a piece of vinyl tubing pushed down through the pour spout to the bottom of the jug. When I'm ready to fuel, put the end of the tubing in the JD tank, and use compressed air to "puff" into the vent hole of the jug. Just be careful not to over-pressurize the fuel can, and also not overfill (easy to do) your tractor.

    Been doing it this way for years. No more lifting, and no spills. (did I mention to be careful not to overfill the tractor?)

    So another quick question. How are you guys towing trailers with these things? At work our tractors have a bar that fits in a slot below pto that has holes for a ball or hitch pin. Is that something that comes with the tractor? I haven’t actually seen a 2025 in the flesh and forgot to look on the 2038 they had on the lot. I’ve also seen a bar with holes you can put on the 3pt. I’m assuming those can be bought at tractor supply?

    I figured green and yellow meant Deere fuel and no need for sharpies lol

    In other news;

    Upon hearing news of her retirement, the 71 year old tractor sprung to life like it would’ve back in 1948. She said “one last time.” I said “ok let’s give this a shot.” Then for the first time in over a month we mowed the whole property without a hiccup or having to tow it back to the garage. I guess red tractors don’t like being replaced by green tractors... Don’t worry, I have tasks here left for it.
