I've had a little 90amp Lincoln since 98. Thats an impressive bit of fabbing that you did with that little Lincoln, tip of the fedora to you sir.
Well we won't tell her. You are safe here unless she is on here..........

Well I can't say I won't be as safe as you with a bigger welder so. I feel good about it though. It's a smaller tractor and I could tell the little 90amper was really getting into the metal

I'm hoping to move to gas and a bigger welder soon.

Work the hell out of it and the feeling you will get from it not breaking, will out weigh the scratches you will put on it. Hell, you can always paint it again.

If you built it to look at, don't use it and build you another one to use. I have built several attachments throughout my life and the older I get, the little stuff like scratches, don't bother me anymore. Everyday I wake up, I says to myself, "Doug, you are one more day closer to the grave, so make the best of the day while you're alive." With that, the little **** doesn't bother me anymore!

Have fun with your stuff and put it to use for what it was intended for.
Oh yeah. I'll get over it pretty quick.
Hell. I was dodging 1" water holes first day my tractor came in. Well actually it was storming so it was sitting in the rain 1-2 days to start but atleast that was clean water lol. I was dodging the water/mud holes after that

    Thanks everyone else's

I also want to thank everyone else on this forum that either had a forklift thread, an idea, or you commented on helping a forklift build. I'm pretty sure I read EVERY SINGLE forklift build on this forum. I then built mine off mine and everyone's else's 2 cents. So in a way everyone here has helped me.

Yep. Now that it's scratched I can use it.

Funny thing is it had that same character before 50 bucks in spray paint and 4 days between drying and curing lmao

Guess from now on it's just hit it and go lol

Well done! I built a rock bucket with my Lincoln flux core welder so maybe I'll just have to make some fork too! I knew it'd get torn up so I didn't even bother painting the rock bucket...although I did by a can of discounted JD Green implement paint so might just have to do the frame...if I can get myself to even clean them enough for the paint to stick
