    Suitcase Weights Retaining Bar

In another thread I was asking about mounting suitcase weights on the front and it was mentioned to provide some type of method to make sure they don't come off. Seems a snow pile was able to push off the front weight, not found till spring!

I had been thinking about this for the rear weights also. My luck I would survive the tractor rollover only to be pummeled by suitcase weights!

I have to mount the rear weights on the inside because my shed is short. A piece of 3" wide welded on with 5/8" bar.

The front was 2" and I used one of the bolts for the roll bar. Had to swap 2" long for 2 1/2" bolt. Don't mind the green paint on the bar, still tacky during final assembly.

It may be just the angle of the picture; are the front weights hitting the tractor hood at the bottom?

Very close to hitting. You have to load on the ends and slide them to the center. Here is some info on weights on the front: https://www.greentractortalk.com/for...nt-1025-r.html
