Looking for someone that would be interested in a welding project

    Hiya,

I'm looking for some help making a dolly for my Bridgeport. I would love to weld it up myself however, due to a rather serious eye injury about 20 years ago, the surgeons told me no more welding if I want to keep seeing.

I have a set of blueprints, however, being an engineer, I have several improvements I would like to incorporate in the design. It would be awesome if you were in New England so we could work together on this.

You could make it bolt together.

I had thought about making a dolly, but I move mine with a bridge crane.

I'm also an engineer, and a fitter welder by trade (many moons ago). I'd like to help you out, but I live in Tennessee. If no one else takes you up on the help, I will do it. Sounds like fun.
