Checking in from Cedar Rapids, IA

    Hello all,

Thanks for the membership and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Travis and some of you might recognize me from some other GT forums. I love the green and wanted to show a few pics of my tractors.

This '67 110 was purchased new by my grandfather from Krieger Implement in Carey, Ohio. Is currently stashed in Ohio at my dad's place and I want to do a show quality resto on this one. This is the tractor that really got me interested in old Deere riders.

Some of you might recognize my "resto-mod" '71 120 that I use for anything and everything around my place. It is a later machine and my "mods" include H3 conversion, Carlisle All-Trail rear tires, bed liner on the fender pan, Pointslayer from Kirkengines.com, LED tails, and a Carter/Kohler 26 carb to replace the walbro that was on it when I purchased. I also have a new Hapco seat for it when I get the original seat pan fixed and painted.
    Here is a before pic:

    After:

The '68 side tag 110 is number 463 produced and still has the original RF style wheel and rib-less fender pan as well as some other unique things. I rescued it from a slow death as a parts tractor and have picked up missing parts over the past year. I do have the hood, supports, and the engine tins. It is currently stashed at a friend's barn along with my 312.

The 312 is an early '77 and currently needs the k301 rebuilt or replaced. It is destined for snow removal duty with the 49 snowblower. I hope to build a "Killer Kohler" as Dave Kirk outlines on his website. It is also stashed in a friend's place along with the '68 110.

Thanks everyone! If you need help with the 120/140 and early 300 series I have a fair amount of resources. I forgot to mention I also have a 7 cart and a 10 cart that my dad has claimed for his own along with an old 18" Deere push mower that is getting rebuilt. It seems I have more projects than I have free time!

Welcome, Travis. As you may or may not have noticed, we have a Vintage L&G section, divided up like you would see on WFM. Posting pics here is a little easier than it is on WFM, and the guys and gals here are top-notch.

I noticed and have already started to haunt those sections. I appreciate the ease of this forum over the old software of WFM - and that is not bashing WFM because I have learned tons of info from that group. I also hang out at gttalk.com but am a hardcore Deere guy.
