    was the idea of ripping that dirt to make or add to the orchard there?

    i ran heavy equipment for many yrs, so i know what a ripper feels like, but never in a jd tractor like that.

    Welcome from Illinois USA. I like the articulating steering on that model. I worked at Farmall when IH made the 88 series that had that kind of steering.
