What is the model? I know that for a while Yanmar was selling their tractors under the Cub name. This looks older than that but I am no expert on these units. It looks like it has a 3ph type BH from your picture. Is that what it is?

If you put the model number up you can see if there are any like it selling on one of the big used tractor sites and then get an idea of what it might be worth based upon its condition and hours etc.

Have you checked www.tractorhouse.com to get an idea what it might be worth? It seems to me that buying it and hoping to flip it for a profit is a gamble I wouldn't take.

I would agree unless he got the thing for a song and a dance or better yet for free. However the OP has not come back to us with that info.
