    Rural King Tractors

Sorry if this is old news, I didnt se much in the search. I had no idea.

    Who makes the tractor?
Our tractors are made by Tong Yang Moolsan, the largest tractor manufacturer in Korea, at their new, ISO 9001 certified factory. All tractors in these HP ranges sold in the U.S. originate from outside the U.S, including those of all the leading brands. The 3-pt. implements are all made right here in the U.S. by King Kutter, and the tires & wheels are made by Midwest-based Titan International, the world’s leading provider of high quality agriculture tires & wheels, and industry-leading Carlstar Group of Tennessee, long-respected for their cutting-edge technology and product performance.

The styling resembles the TYM brand quite a bit. There is a shop in town that has had some TYM for sale at times, and they look pretty nice. That shop primarily sells Branson tractors.

TYM makes (or has made) lots of tractors under a bunch of different brands. Most recently, they were building tractors for the Cabela's brand. Apparently Cabela's couldn't sell enough of them top make it worthwhile and they've gotten out of the tractor business.

    They offered me the opportunity.
However, they insisted that I get rid of Johnny.

    I turned them down.

TYM doesn't build engines (or transmissions) so they've used different engines over the years.

When TYM was building tractors for the Allmand and Millennium brands they used Kubota engines. The machines that built for Cabelas had Mitsubishi engines for the smaller machines and Yanmar engines for the larger units.

Compare the Rural King RK55 models vs. Cabela's LM55 models vs. TYM's T554 models. Same engines, transmissions, dimensions, capacities, ratings, etc... The only differences between them is paint color and labels.
