    My "OTHER" 4WD Tractor

    I purchased a JD 650 recently, which inspired me to sign-up at GTT,,,

    My "other" tractor has been here for just over 20 years,,

    This is not a common tractor in the USA, most (if not all) 584's sold in the US were 2WD, mine was brought to VA from Canada by the PO.
    It will do most anything, as it is kinda heavy,,,

    Several years ago, I went to the JD dealer to get a CUT and a 72" mower, they did not offer one.
    They did have this setting in the yard, so it came home, instead;

    So, as my usual method, I went cheap,, and never purchased a CUT,,,,

    I get by with this as a field mower,,,

    Very nice! I like all of them. When I was an Amish kid it was all about Farmalls. All our neighbors had them. The newest one at the time was a 560. I loved it and still do.

    Very Nice

    Great looking tractor. We have a 2wd 784 with a whole bunch of hours. Not sure how many, the hour meter died between 5 & 6,000 and that was a while ago. It needs some sprucing up now. . .

    That is a great looking 584. Even aside from the four wheel drive, it appears to be in really nice condition.

    When I sold my 424, I looked at a few 586 and 686 tractors but the 5320 came along before I found an IH in decent condition.
