    Cummins 8.3 repower

Curious if anyone here has installed one to repower an IH tractor. The current engine is an IH V8. Not a fan of the Detroit V8's and would rather try an 8.3 or an IH 466.

I know the Detroit V8 is said to easily drop in and bolt up,but those engines don't have the torque I want.

With the Cummins installed, I will need take it easy and not pull the guts out of it with too big a plow.

Don't need to create expensive driveline issues which are a concern with the 8.3.

I have read about Cummins power in an IH, but I have not seen one. What IH are you going to repower?

This is on a 4568. Will be working on a 4366 at a later date.
