    Corvette Museum sinkhole

    Nope, not a Ford joke.

This is only a few miles from home, kind of shocking.

I might be a Ford girl, but that really breaks my heart. I hate to see any of the classics damaged.

At least all, except maybe for the '62, are easily replaceable.

So Sad. Loved the Blue Devil. ZR-1 soft tops are pretty rare. They didn't make that many ZR-1s, let alone verts...

I'm sure they'll recover the cars once they get things stabilized. I hope, anyway.

Might be a good time to talk to your insurance agent about "sink hole" coverage..... Seriously.

I see stuff every now and then about how we have caused issues with the water table and how that causes sink holes. With a large portion of the country below average in the precip catagory it only seems like it will get worse.Oh boy, another thing to worry about.

We have been removing water, oil, coal and gas from under ground for years and years and it has always amazed me that no one seems to worry about the what ifs.

I'm curious if their insurance will even cover this? This totally seems like something an insurance company would try and get out of paying for. Sink hole insurance may be an add on

I saw a story somewhere online where the area is know for having sink hole issues. They had a survey conducted before they build the Museum. Said it was likely they missed this hole and it was just a matter of time.
