    The Plowshare Issue 33

Here is a link to the new issue of The Plowshare:
    http://www.deere.com/en_US/docs/Corp...re_issue33.pdf

I haven't read it yet but apparently the cover article is about the origin of "Nothing Runs Like a Deere" which was first used for advertising John Deere snowmobiles. The snowmobiles didn't stay long, but the slogan did.

Thanks, for posting the pdf. I have been getting the Plow Share online now for a couple of years. I received my email yesterday for the plow share, but for some reason, it wanted me to register to open it.

I used to have a 1981 440 Trailfire and still have a 1980 440 Sportfire, they both used Kawasaki fan cooled, single carb engines and both very reliable machines although not the best ride quality, that got great mpg.

The dealers who have been around for some time should. I was in my mid-20's at the time "Nothing Runs Like a Deere" came around and if I was still trying to hustle equipment, I would have been in the grave long ago. Being a dealer is fun most of the time, but it sure ain't easy. It didn't help matters any that my interests didn't lie in the business end.
