Well, I posted in another thread, but thought Id start my own for the car nuts on the site..
December of 2013 I bought this 68 Impala Custom Coupe.. Its a beast! Guy I got it from bought it down in Florida back in 09 I think he said.. Its VERY solid underneath.. Car was frame on restored and engine installed before he bought it.. Then, he done the dress up and electric fan, sway bars underneath, transmission, tires wheels, and exhaust.
The bad, is the transmission has some issues Im working on now, some wiring not done right (electric fan, distributor, and back up lights on manual switches), and speedometer cluster problems. I bought a cluster from a guy in Chicago which looks very nice and should be good, it goes in and before will get the other wiring done, and new speedometer cable too.. Hopefully this gets done this weekend, and Im gonna haul the car to the trans shop next week.. Buddy pulled the trans out and I took to the shop for rebuilding. It got reinstalled last week and it still has problems, so taking whole car to the trans shop.. BTW, its a 700R4.

350 Crate Motor, Holley 770cfm, aluminum radiator w/ electric fans, serpentine belt system.
Factory air car (not all there anymore ), factory column shift converted to floor shift, aftermarket bucket seats (oh, the red floor mats are gone too!!)
New front sway bars, drop spindles
Hooker Headers hooked to 2 1/2" stainless steel exhaust with X pipe and Flowmaster 40 series..
Rebuilt 12 bolt rear end with Moser Axles and 3.55 Posi, new gas tank, rear sway bars
