    How do incentives work?

Do the incentives (ex. $500 off with 2 implements) come from the dealer... or Deere? What I mean is does the dealer subtract it from the price, or do you mail something into Deere and get a check back?

I ask because none of my quotes say anything about incentives.

When I was shopping all of the incentives showed up as the last line on the quotes.

But essentially, if the JD WWW site lists it (in their "Promotions" section) as a "rebate" you buy, then send in a form and get a check back in the mail.

If it says "discount" or "$xxx off", it comes off the final sale price at the time of purchase.
