Thank you all so much for the well wishes today. It helped me keep it front and center in my mind so I didn't forget when I got home...20 minutes ago. No nice dinner out tonight, but I did get reservations to a nice place for tomorrow night. I would have rather taken the day off today but had a department all-hands meeting that I couldn't reschedule due to the various other folks schedule restrictions...that and I didn't catch that it was on my anniversary when my communications team scheduled the all-hands I'm very fortunate that my wife is understanding of my work obligations...

i never tried it all winter--which i could of -cause i got the wiring to run to the rear of gator too. i was too pe-owed to take it off the front and remount it to rear to see if it worked there.

    57 and breezy.

Off to get the truck serviced at 0800. I have a lot to do outside, but I'm afraid that the rain will get here and screw up the plan.

Great menu. My wife made the first macaroni salad last Sunday. That's how I know spring is here.

    Like that's possible.

    *******************

    Good Morning Folks!

61* and strong, gusty winds from the south. I was out with the dog about 0400 and heard a tree break off and land on something metal, probably a car or shed, on the road out back of me. It must have been a tall tree because it was a bit of time from when it cracked until it hit something metal. If the noise didn't wake the homeowners, they're in for a surprise when they do go out. I'll have to snoop around when it gets light.

Lots of plans up in the air today. I hired on to help my electrician buddy with some network cabling if he finishes up his end of the install. He's not sure when he'll finish, so I'm in limbo for when I start. Unpaid standby.

    Have a super day!

boy gizmo2 that is pretty slim therebut i guess at least ur having 2 of the meat groups, potatoes, just in a different way then i envision.

we are trying a different type of ham here this yr. came right from a meat market, it's supposed to be smoked like we used to do back in the old days, filling the barrel, with water and using salt to float a egg, then insert ur hams into the barrel for so many days, then u smoke ur meat for so many days, long time since we have done that

any ways-bren's work had one of these for i'm thinking back at Christmas, and she brought me home a slice or 2 to try.

wife was mad at me for spending so much per pound for it, will see tomorrow, having our meal at youngest boy's house, cause daughter-in-law doesn't want to bring grand baby to our place afraid granddaughter might become allergic to our kitty kats.

so going over to their house instead we understand her concerns, so going there.
