Dang, Levi. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your great granddaughter. I cannot imagine the pain, of another huge loss, at this time. You have my deepest heartfelt sympathy.

I think you are probably right. There are probably a lot that I would like to know so I could use them.
Not military, but one flight when I was F/O on the 737, I called someone a Pri*k. (The other person was jet blasting everyone with a bizjet.) I was quickly informed by my Capt. that, "The pri*k is a better part of a man. You can call him an a**hole, but you cannot call that dumba** a pri*k!" So, maybe being called a pri*k, is a nice thing.

Over the years I've been called a condescending pri*k more than once. At the times those happened I didn't feel like the person delivering the passage was being nice

    YMMV

PS; Were you on a part 121 or 135 flight, early 100-500 series B737 ?

Spent most of the morning & some afternoon trimming dead growth from drought damaged shrubs & trees around the yard. Cubby & the 17P cart were put to work hauling to the trailer for a trip to the farm in a couple days: Click image for larger version.

Had to make some adjustments to both Cubby's drawbar & spacers under the coupler on the 17P tongue to make the cart level: Click image for larger version.

We've been without running water most of the day, 8" main leak a couple houses down. Not as big of a deal to me as to the wife, I grew up without running water! We keep some bottled water on hand for just such an occurrence, plus some jugs in the refrigerators at all times anyway. Finally fixed around 3 pm!

Levi, no way I can like your Post.

My heart is aching for you at the present time. Thoughts and Prayers to you and your family of your great-granddaughter passing.

I know it will be hard, not thinking of her and Lucy. One thought , she is with grandma and they are having a good time, up in heaven.

Have a safe trip and enjoy your time with Mom and Dad..

    Prayers

IIRC, part 121 and 135 are levels of FAA certification for air carriers. 135 (commuter, on-demand, air taxi) is more stringent than 121 (scheduled passenger).

Other way around. Part 121 is more stringent than Part 135. But yes, Part 121 is air carrier, such as the airlines, (as in my case), or UPS or FedEx. Part 135 is actually charter, or business, not scheduled air carrier. Part 135 usually operates business jets such as the Citation or Lear, or turbot prop, such as the King Air. Part 135 would also cover air taxi, such as flying passengers by seaplane in Alaska.
