    Good evening everyone.

Hopefully termites are dying as I type this.

    Got some other stuff done.

Still don't have a rain gauge.

Probably won't have one tomorrow either.
Taking the easy way is what makes rivers and men crooked.

    Ask me how I know.
i too had one of them high class rain and weather gauges yrs ago. and it dumped the water out the bottom tooso no need to drill a hole-- oh my

so the Tiltelist doesn't think i have a rain gauge at all-huhhere's the proof-
my aunt who i talk about visiting a lot-gave me this now going on 3 yrs--what the wife claimsdoesn't seem that long--anyways--it was her mothers who got it free from the insurance company. i just hate to stick it outside in fear i'll forget to dump it out in colder weather

in other news--gator turned over to 1,000 miles this evening. man are we (Charley boy and I) enjoying it every day-even if we just use it to dump the kitty litter and peelings down by the woods he doesn't care how far we go-as long as he's riding on my lap staring out the window

got a load (125 gals) of new gas delivered yesterday-set now i hope for the summer into the fall or till spring.

18 cents above the pump price to have it delivered--i'm happy and no hauling cans.

    Good Morning Folks!

59* and rain on the way.

I'm reluctantly headed to a plumbing job 90 miles away with my brother this morning. Hopefully this is the last trip. It's too far to travel for what the job pays.

Time to get going. I'll have my next few cups of coffee in the truck.

    Have a terrific day!

    Stan, this is beyond unacceptable.

I had one of them fancy upper class rain gauges, until that broke too, maybe I'm just better off to look at the creek out back. When it's over the banks I know it rained,,,,,,a lot.

Jim, the rain gauge on the desk does as much good as the aerator in the basement.

My foolproof method of weather reading comes from the dog, Dynamite. When he goes out to pee and comes in wet I know it is raining. If his fur feels warm, the sun must be shining or at least it is warm. If he comes in with a face full of snow, I know it's not going to be a nice day.

For example, if I were to let him out right now, by the time he peed he would be soaked with rain water.
54 degrees and looks like a crappy day here.

    Leg day!

    Good morning Everyone!

The long wait is over! I am going to go try on my right leg today and hopefully everything fits like it should. If all is well, then it will be sent out to get finalized. Then next week I will be able to have both legs and I can work on getting out of this place!

Thank you all for the continued support and prayers! They are what is helping me get through this!

I can't wait to be back home again. Mrs WB and our 2 fur babies are ready for me to be home too!

    Have a great day!
