About 700' of road built in the last few days. Truck and trailer each of 2"- and 3/4"- laid down over a red clay base. The base rock was spread by the dump truck and we back dragged it but the larger rock was put down one bucket at a time. The owner is happy with the results. Beer thirty!

    Good evening all,

Ended up going to a car show this afternoon. I pulled in with the Shelby and the first person that came up to me was an Ohio state trooper. We had a great conversation. He was a car enthusiast gettting paid to be at a car show. Guess it doesn't get any better for him. Long story short, he told that he wanted to hear it when I left. As was ready to leave, I found him letting him know I was leaving. I said that I wasn't going to crank it up, but, I'll wind it up for you. He gave me a big thumbs up.

I forgot to post pics of the old mower.

It's not too shabby for being 11 years old. As bad as it was tortured , it held up well. Only thing ever re-painted on it was the deck.

Note: The yellow is actually darker than in the pics.

I'll have to celebrate it's achievements with a 24 pack. Cheers!!

Put down, backed-dragged, and leveled 8 yards of hardpack after installing KBOH step and grab handle. Sure would have liked to try a boxBlade on this but don't have one yethad to use a rake . Oh yeah also compacted it as we put it down with Habor Freight one way compactor. Now to wait on patio blocks to come in

    Good Morning Folks!

50* and clear. Only hitting 75* today and I'm fine with that.

Spent the day in the old upstairs bathroom and kitchen yesterday, cutting cast iron and galvanized pipe out of the walls and floor. We've gutted the floor, ceiling, and walls so it's a good time to upgrade plumbing. I get one good sawzall cut on a 2" pipe and have to change blades if I don't want to struggle on the next cut. I'm using good Lenox blades, but that old steel is hard! Or maybe I'm getting soft ...

    Have a nice day!

Thanks DR. I'll talk to you in the spring. The truck will probably still need some love.
