Good morning all. Today we are going to take a ride to Ikea with the kids. Need my truck as they want to get a new desk and table. Hate the city but oh well be a nice Dad and not much else going on today. Everyone have a great day.
    Thanks Bob

Need to get Christmas lights down , and I had planned on putting a few things out today. As we know plans can change, my brother asked if I could come in and help with change transmission oil and filter , and repair hyd cylinder.

Yesterday after coming home, changed oil and filter in Outback, mowed leaves here for final time then took off MMM , put chains on , installed front quick hitch , drive shaft for blower . Now either need to install blade or snow blower .

Good morning y'all. 37ー with clear skies down here, but warming up fast. Looking for ~64ー for the high temp.

Gonna be leaving for the beach in a couple hours. I told wife that Jane might need an insulated swim-suit.

    Have a great Saturday.

    Good morning all,

32 ー warming to 41ー and partly cloudy.

Andy (my son-in-law in) picked up his tractor this morning. The dealer had to order the backhoe, as none of their dealerships in the area had one in stock. John Deere shipped it within a couple days. He took it in Wednesday and they had it installed by Friday morning. Great service. Going to go watch him do some stump digging with it in a while.

After that, I'll be watching football all afternoon. Go Buckeyes!

    Have a good one.

    Good morning everyone.

Today was opening day for "modern gun" deer season.

It was a good morning to be in the woods. Still felt kind of lonely. This is the second year that Dad hasn't been there.

Got some stuff to putter with if I am inclined. However I may be more in the mood to recline for a nap instead.

Good evening, managed to get the Christmas lights on the house , and wife did around our deck and scrubs.

Went in and helped brother do a repair kit for lift cyl on his 2720.. He took the snap ring off and we could not get past the snap ring inside the cyl.

After looking trying different things we were stumped... Finally got on youtube and yep 56FordGuy (aka Blake or Guy in WY )saved the day... Thanks.

Took us close to 45 mins getting the seals, O rings and what ever else and back together. Putting yellow hard wiper was hard , and the two inside seals.

Then the fun started , moved the latch on fel and all heck broke loose, an hour later finally had the cyl on FEL, and it attached to tractor.
Then he wanted the hyd fluid changed , WOW much easier than the series 1, still had the sight glass , but taking the screen with magnets inside , easy ..

So after almost 5 hrs finished He was moving logs around when I left..

Forgot to mention as I was leaving our house , wife pressed the garage door button and sounded like a shotgun being fired. I had just closed that door 30 mins before but for what ever reason . Told her I would look at it when I came home.

Just came in from switching sides the Outback and Sienna set in the garage. Need a new garage door opener, the shaft coming off the motor broke along with the top gear where the chains goes.... thinking this opener is 15-20 yrs old.

    rtgt,

He's there with you. My dad passed away in 1995, but he's still there in my thoughts. Cherish every moment that you still have with you dad.
