I'm finally getting a chance to install the sheet metal on the front of the barn(the pieces that the winds from the drive-by tornado ripped off a couple months back). Came inside to get a tall glass of water. It sure is hot out while working. It's 78į (49% humidity) and the sun is shinning brightly.

Mrs.FW and Jane went grocery shopping and ain't back yet. I hope they don't spend too much of my hard-earned money.

She did say something about Black Friday and every time I here that, I always end up in the RED.

OK, I've cooled down now, so back to work.

    Later...............

    Late good morning

Had a nice thanksgiving but have been exhausted all day from it. Got to bed about 11:00. Got up at seven and got the ride over to the supermarket. Had great leftovers for lunch but wanted a change for dinner. Making Oklahoma onion burghers for dinner with cheese, ,onions, pickles and mustard. I salt the pile of razor thin onion and add salt to them to sweat. Next, after they sweat in a strainer for an hour, I wrap them in in a cloth and twist them water free and Than add fresh ground pepper. Cast iron skillet, chop meat rolled balls are placed in a touch of oil onions on top and smashed, Side browned, burgher flipped, rolls pan toasted in a little butter and flipped with cheese placed on non onion side of burgher. Finished with burgher on roll with a little worsteshire, pickles and yellow mustard. Also, well cooked bacon to add. Baked beans, potato salad and cole slaw all made fresh. Went from a fall feast to an old fashion American lunch dinner. All good!!! Gonna pull my John Deere out for a short run. I like to keep the battery maintainer and check the voltage levels ,fluids and fire it up and make a small warm up run. Itís good to keep things lubed working and running periodically with use. Wife cleaning and prepping for Christmasís today. Making the best of post thanks giving, hope all you guys are. Last but not least, hoping I can find something to order on the internet net from kans hooks to John Deere assecories or clothes.

Hope all you guys are having a great post thanks giving and continue to have a nice time with family, friends, gtt brothers and neighbors thru out this time and New Years and the Super Bowl.

Always great to here from you guys,
    Don

It's on. Now get off my a$$ and let me watch football.

To all of those that think the quick hitch and blade is the same for the 2X20 series as it is for the 300-400 series, grab one and carry it. It does look similar but it has to weigh at least three times as much. Cylinders are bigger and the blade is built heavier. Standard skid shoes still suck.

My dream is not to move that tractor again until it is time to put the mower on.

I pretty much finished my enclosed back patio cover all day while watching football. . While she cooked EVERYTHING on my plate plus stuff I didnít get. She started the night before, got back up at 7am and finished at 5pm
