    Big chill

Well its that time of year again. They are predicting cold temps and lots of snow possible. I am racing to get the last of the leaves sucked up. I still have to winterize the RV. Some years like last year if it snows this early we may not see the ground untill April. I had snow in my yard in May last spring, left over piles but still frozen white. It started around the 15th last year. I will get the leaves today and mount the plow tomorrow if the forecast holds. I am also putting the soft cab back on , installing the heater box. I was really hoping for one of those mild winters where it doen't snow a lot untill Jan. I have lots more to do outside. Time will tell I guess.

    Justgrin,

I'm just south of ya in Blueberryville.

I ain't even worried. Not yet anyway. Lake is still too warm.;)
Might get a little sloppy with the frosty rain for an hour or so, but nothing is going to stick for another week or two.

As soon as I get the plow tractor all torn apart in the shop for the new water pump, THEN we will get a blizzard.
I'll give you a heads up before I start turning wrenches.

    WOW
Not much to do here except throw on a few faucet covers and bring out some warmer clothes

This lengthy cold blast does seem kind of early, making for a long winter for everyone up north.

Here we could easily be in the 70's at any point after this front in Nov. or Dec. Warming things up nicely.

As I type I can hear the northwest wind howling! Was a beautiful 60 degrees today but as the front moves through tonight it's suppose to get in the 20's. Alittle early for winter in my book, climate change at its best.

    Hiya,

Still plenty to do around here, took on added urgency as I heard the north winds roaring over the summit Saturday, pretty soon the mountain will be frozen and white till May.

My sits on the deer stand will be shorter. I can't handle the cold like I used to.

Just miserable outdoors!!! Boss made me work. Well, I guess did not force me, but said that I would not get paid, if I didn't!! The wind is the worst part of it all, but temps will continue to fall overnight, and we are expecting our first freeze. I guess that will end my garden, or at least, all but the onions.

Time to think about putting the electric blanket on the bed.
