    Dedicated weather thread?

Instead of just doing this on my own, I thought I would ask here to see if this would be acceptable to the members and the mods.

I'd like to start a dedicated weather thread in this section. My thoughts are one for each month so it doesn't get too long and easy to reference. For instance, for this month, the tread title would read "What's the weather like at your place - December 2014".

This is a bit selfish I guess as I am an avid weather watcher and love to see how the weather is in other parts of the country and how it affects them. Also pics are great. I also have some great forecasters that I follow that I can share their thoughts.

    What say you?

Great idea!! I'll bet many are interested in it!

When I hear of bad weather hitting a region, I always wonder if some of the members in that region are getting the brunt of it too. This way, we can all know what each one of us is dealing with. Which also means we can try to help if someone is in need and is in our general region. (Thinking tornado time in Texas on that.)

When our weather in Alberta changes three times a day sometimes, it will be hard to pick a time to post.

But yes, I am a weather geek too at times. I like to see some of you down south start to freeze after the cold air leaves our region.
