My girls are home for Christmas

Both of my girls are home for Christmas.

The youngest is working part time at her old kennel job (they are always over booked for the holidays) plus some people she has house sat for and taken care of their horses, cat and dogs want her house sitting again. I wont see much of her.

The oldest (studying to be a teacher) will just be hanging out here. Her boy friend is coming the weekend after Christmas.

Only the two girls. Neither has interest in Deer hunting. The oldest did drive the 6415 last summer when her boyfriend was here, he drove it too. She also organized hay rides for Halloween during her High School years.

The youngest has "claimed" the farm. She wants to turn it into a horse farm when I am gone.

Yippee on the girls being home!!! Enjoy it while you can!!

And tell the youngest to be patient. Your family here would hate to lose you!!

If I may, enjoy every day with them as they grow! Such valuable time doesn't last.

Before Pattie and I had kids, I always heard other parents say "they get big too quickly". I could never understand that back then before kids ourselves...seeing them so dependent... tugging on pant legs, etc.

Guess what? They DO get big too quickly. My 24 year old son is up, out and married. And my 21 year old son is a senior at Penn State...likely going to be up and out shortly as well (not much opportunity in Aerospace jobs in the Poconos of PA). All those diapers, pant tugs, etc. were well worth the investment.

Anyway...you have two beautiful daughters and it sure sounds like their heads are on straight! Congratulations for a parenting job well done!!!

BTW...still wasn't too crazy on the diapers...

Merry Christmas, and God bless America

    Regards,
    Mike
