Always Hated this day when I was In the Army. There was always some function I had to go to. One of My Last Army Birthdays we Got the Black Beret and it was Raining. And I wanted to shoot the Army Chief of Staff at that Point. Because formations In Berets are not Fun especially if it's raining

    Couldn't speak the language...

My military career was with the Air Force, and in my contractor "afterlife" I supported other Defense organizations. When finally placed on an Army support contract, I worked hard to learn their language. For some reason my new associates weren't impressed when I introduced myself and bellowed their beloved battle cry, HOO-HA. They didn't seem to appreciate my effort. Maybe my hair was too long?...

My last Duty assignment was Fort Drum 10th Mountain Division as a S-3 NCOIC and acting Battalion Sergeant Major Most of the Civilian Workers On post were former Air Force & Most had even served at a Rome Air Force Base. The HOO-HA really made them happy didn't it because It HOOAH for the Army. Well we always consider You Air force Guys as Civilians In Uniform and then You were Just a Civilian without a Uniform
