    Duluth Trading Company

Has anybody tried their stuff out?

I ordered a set of pants and a shirt from them. Kinda expensive, but if it's as good as they claim...

I bought a pair of fire hose pants a year ago or so. The were nice, but expensive. I can buy 4 pairs of TSC work pants for the price of 1 pair of fiire hose pants.
I did allot of fencing last year, and they got tore up by barbed wire just as bad as the TSC ones did.

They (supposedly) have a pretty good warranty. Have you given them a call?

I bought a pair of winter gloves from them a couple of years back. They're fair, but really no better than less expensive ones I've tried. Kind of bulky, short so your wrist is exposed, and below 30 with a light breeze your hands start getting noticeably cold. Pretty disappointing below 20.

I'm a huge fan of the long tail T shirts. Good quality material and stays tucked.
FH pants are good, not great. Don't pay regular price. You can usually get them 20% off. All the pockets are great. However the inside if the front pockets have worn through on mine. I should try sending them back.
Shoreman's fleece is great jacket for about 80% of the weather we get in MI. It is fleece though so not Carhartt rugged. Don't wear it around the burn pile.
Overall their products seem to have sizing issues. They have always taken care of this free of charge.

I've been tempted a few times to try some of their stuff, but have kept with what has worked for me in the past.

I wear a Henley style short sleeve t-shirt (open collar with a couple buttons) and have worn Carhartt for years. My exact size is XL TALL which is hard to find around here. I was going to try the long tail t-shirt from Duluth but then found I can buy the Carhartts I like so much from Amazon for ~$16.

Also tempted by the Wild Boar Mocs. I've worn Merrill Jungle Mocs for years now and thought about trying those out - but in the end I thought it best to stick with what works. Talk about being set in my ways!

I love my Merrils. They are super comfortable. I wish they made safety toe foot wear....

I did buy a set of their Wild Boar Mocs as well. For $35 I figured it was worth a shot. I usually pay twice that for the Merrils.
