    John Deere Battalion WWII

I found this by accident. Some of you may be interested. Some of you may not know that the John Deere Battalion existed. Two of the men I worked with at the Syracuse Branch were WWII veterans who served with the battalion. Bob Jones, Branch Service Manager and Larry Hill, Branch Training Manager were both great guys and both forgot more than I could ever know about tractors and equipment. There doesn't seem to be a lot of information available, but it is interesting to me, anyway. If any of you have any information or know of veterans, I would be interested to hear about it.

Most of this video is narrated by Machinery Pete.
