I saw the title of "Fried PC" and was going to ask if it tastes like chicken.

    Sorry.

My desktop PC is down also. It has been for 3 months. I've been using my laptop and love it. I can sit in front of the fireplace and watch TV while surfing, with it on my lap(I guess that's why it's named a Laptop) . Who'd a thought.

A friend is working on the desktop. After he retrieves my photos(and a few other things I didn't backup), I may can it.

Notebook-laptop, I feel your pain! As a "classicly trained" typerist (on a big brown Royal Standard w/green keys) I CAN NOT type on those dang flat keyed funny spaced junior keys. I have to look too often and I hate having to look at the keyboard! AND! I hate that silly little "cursor whizzer space" taking the place of the mouse. Unless I make a fist and only use my thumb I wind up with too much unwanted "selections" and pages that disappear... I look like a darn monkey trying to write "King Lear" when I have to use Wifey's laptop!
