LOVE snowshoeing.....that's some fantastic exercise they are getting and it's always nice to get out during the winter and NOT freeze.

Not sure if they have the walking poles yet, but it makes things a TON easier for uphill/downhill on those suckers.

Just looks too cold for me to be out in!! I'd last long enough to bring another stack of wood in for the fireplace!!

I agree, didn't realize Gizmo lived so close to Area 51

Seriously glad they got out into the fresh air, always good this time of year!

You'd be surprised how heated up you get when snowshoeing. If you dress for the cold when you're not moving, as soon as you start walking you find yourself sweating like crazy. Sure beats sitting on a stationary bike or running on a treadmill going nowhere....

I'd never make it. I'd put on so many layers of clothes, that by the time I was dressed, I'd need to potty, and then it would take 10 minutes to get undressed for that! I REALLY stink at cold. I mean REALLY stink at cold!!

Snowshoeing has to be one favorite winter activities. Years ago, I'd go out just about every day, sometimes twice. With a good headlamp it's great to be out there. I've seen some beautiful sights while out snowshoeing.
