    Things I'm thankful for

With Thanksgiving on the horizon I thought I'd take a moment to list a few of the things that I am most thankful for:

I'm thankful for my wife, lord knows she has put up with a lot over the years, but she's always been right by my side.
I'm thankful for my dad, 85 years young in a couple of months and still going strong.
I'm thankful for my girls, Miranda is 18 and thinks she is the center of the universe but she is a real sweetheart down deep inside. Emma, well, there's not enough time in a day for me to list the reasons that I am thankful for that little ray of sunshine, she has the biggest heart and shows more compassion for others than most of the adults I know.
I'm thankful for my in laws, my FIL has been a mentor to me for many years now and my MIL will always drop everything she is doing to lend a hand.

I would also like to give a special thanks to what has become my new extended family, Green Tractor Talk not a day goes by that I haven't learned something on this site, and I've managed to make some real good friends along the way.

    HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL

    Great post Pat!

I'm so thankful for a healthy, happy family. Despite how crazy they can make me sometimes, I love them all dearly.

Well said. With just a few minor changes I could have written that myself. My parents and in-laws have all passed, as have my brother and Sharon's brother, but we have many memories to be thankful for...including our six grand children, three of which have graduated college and have good careers ahead of them. I too, am thankful that at our age, we both are relatively healthy both mentally and physically.

I am also thankful for my two beautiful daughters, the youngest of which just turned 50 this Spring. May God Bless.
    Have wings, will travel.

I too am thankful for my wife who is my center although I donít always make her feel that way. I am also thankful for the time I spend with my father even when ďdebatingĒ and my mother in law who never ever debates with me but does keep me busy with projects which I enjoy. Also thankful both boys will be home tonight.

Thank you to all of you who help keep me sane and provide me both some laughs and teach me new things.

So many things we're thankful for but the most important is God our Father giving us a Savior so we can be saved.

I do have to say thank you GTT for tolerating me.

I'm thankful that 26 years ago my first wife took off with a biker which allowed me to meet Mrs. P. a short time later. She has made me the totally awesome man that I am today.
Thankful for the first responders who saved my house this summer from fire allowing me to host a family thanksgiving.
Thankful for the mods including DS for their thankless job they do here.
Thankful for the military and all volunteers who make our life better.
Thankful for the cow who gave me it's prime rib and the pig who donated part of it's butt to feed the incoming hoard!
