Just watch secondhand lions, those dudes know how to keep trespassers and salesmen away. My policy is : you treaspass on my property, and you will never be seen again!!! I've had about enough of those f-ing hunters- excuse me, poachers, who keep coming onto my and my back neighbours place, I've told them to scram, but they told ME to scram!!!! Same story about the back neighbour. My dad is convinced that they are stealing lambs and calves and turning the animals loose. But, then again, he's a conspiracy theorist, so he suspects everyone!!!

I gotta go find those claymore mines...

I have some neighbors who didn't think the lot lines or no trespass signs applied to them in the past, so I made it very clear (in writing) that I wouldn't tolerate any unauthorized entry, and if they set foot onto my property with a weapon it would be treated as a hostile act and responded to accordingly. I thought that was quite clear, and it appears they did too as we haven't had any issues since.

Just because you dress up in a costume and have a hunting license doesn't mean you can come onto my property.

I've found the best approach is to appear a bit "off" to the neighbors you don't get along with or who want to take advantage of you. I have a wonderful mutually respectful relationship with most of my neighbors, but the ones who've violated those people's boundaries were written off from the get-go. Those same problem people disputed my posted signs when I first bought the place and poached two deer from my land before I had it surveyed the following week. The signs had been well within my lot lines, the survey actually moved them 30-60' further out so that was money well spent.

It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
