How's the weather at your place? - July 2019

Welcome to the July 2019 weather thread!

The full moon this month is on the 16th.

July is the month of the Full Buck Moon. At this time, a buck’s antlers are in full growth mode. This full Moon was also known as the Thunder Moon because thunderstorms are so frequent during this month.

Really like the trend I'm seeing rainfall wise this year compared to previous two years.

Hope we can stay in the below 12" for one month category the rest of the year.

Historically the average yearly rainfall should be between 60" and 65", which ain't bad for us.

Ended June with just 3.86" and year to date 27.43 ".

68* this morning. It’s currently a bit foggy, that will quickly burn off as the sun rises a bit. Chance of scattered shows / t storms. Forecasted high of 85* for today. It’s forecasted to be in the high 80’s with scattered t storms for the next week or so.

So far i have missed out on the storms and rain. Not far from here they nearly 2” of rain and some trees are down. Sounds like they had to evacuate County U.S.A. Do to Heavy storms.

They closed the Kewaunee boat launch do to high water. Don’t really understand how you can have too much water for a boat. But the powers that be felt it was unsafe and the kneed to protect us from ourselves. Lake Michigan is at a record high and is expected to come up another couple of inches.

66 this morning, clear skies. High today of 82, low humidity. No rain forecast, the grass is getting real gray and headed toward brown already.

The weather has been beautiful. Yesterday was great for working outside, no/low humidity, a breeze, temps in the mid 70s. Today is supposed to get up to 79° with low humidity. Our low this morning was 48°, it was chilly in the house with most things open at least a crack this morning! The mugginess will increase here this week as well. It appears there is also a chance of "storms" each day too, the muggy weather and chance of storms go hand in hand together, often the storms never materialize.

June had 8.46" of rain here, with 1.91" being the highest amount in one rain event, on June 1st.
